What is CBD (Cannabinoidiol)

CBD. CBD is non-psychoactive. It doesn’t cause a “high.” However, it may produce many physical benefits, such as reducing pain and nausea, preventing seizures, and easing migraine. CBD is one of many compounds found in Hemp (legal in all states). CBD from hemp is a cannabinoid that is naturally  low (< 0.3%) in THC and lacks the psychoactive “High” that is associated with marijuana.
The antioxidants in CBD are more powerful than those of Vitamin E and C. This means that they have the potential for repairing the damage from UV rays. In studies they have been tested and are being developed to treat psoriasis, acne, and other skin conditions with topical application.

Endocannabinoidial system (ECS):

Endocannabinoids are neurotransmitters that exist within our bodies naturally. They impact our central nervous system (brain and spinal ) and peripheral nervous system ( muscles and organs) processes:

  • pain and inflammation
  • regulates emotion
  • energy, digestive
  • memory and learning
  • Neurogenesis

Are the cannabinoids produced in the cannabis plant. They stimulate the endocannabinoid system. There are many reports and testimonies that CBD has provided relief of symptoms that prior were treated with pharmaceuticals.

whole vs Isolate

The Whole Hemp plant (flower to seed) contains multiple compounds: fatty acids, minerals, terpenes, and phytonutrients, to include THC (the psychoactive component) that work synergistically together and with our own endocannabinoid system, creating the *”entourage effect” ,  how phytocannabinioids boost/optomize our own naturally produced endocannabinoid system.

The Entourage effect is also applied to synthetic pharmaceuticals. How one medication acts in conjunction with another by either potentiating “increasing” or by mitigating “decreasing” their therapeutic value.

This is why you see warning labels on medications ex: Do not drink alcohol with this medication or do not eat grapefruit with this medication. Alcohol could increase the potency of a narcotic to cause an overdose, while when taken with an antibiotic is will render the medication ineffective with no benefit.

Isolate: Is the extraction of a single or multiple components from the whole plant. While this may decrease the potentcy of the product it also may be more beneficial, as with CBD, the component THC is extracted rendering CBD non psychoactive and legal in all 50 states. Therefore allowing access to the benefits of CBD to more population.

CBD Oil and Hemp seed Oil

CBD Oil is made from the entire hemp plant retaining a greater concentration of phytonutrients, terpenes, cannabinoids (CBD,CBC, CBG, CBN, and trace amounts of THC <0.3%).
Hemp seed oil is cold pressed extracted from the seeds of hemp and is tested to insure <0.3% THC percentage. It is rich in fatty acids, low in CBD and THC content. Hemp seed oil does not have the same benefits as CBD oil from both Hemp and/or Marijuana whole plants.
Hemp seed and Hemp seed oil is used for food consumption and cooking, beauty products, and to suspend CBD extract in.

what are phytocannabinoids

There are more than 100 phytocannabinoids in the hemp plant.  CBD is similiar to chemicals created in our bodies called Endocannabinoids. Phytocannabinoids and Endocannabinoids act on different receptors in our bodies (CB2) and brain (CB1).
CBD phytocannabinoids engage with our biological created endocannabinoid system receptors CB1 (brain) and CB2 (body) to help stimulate our biological matrix: and because CBD is similiar to our own biogical system it easily integrates without the side effects of synthetic medications
